Born and raised in the cultured city of New Orleans, LA, Rodney Thomas Jr learned very early on the importance of community. This is when Rodney learned the value of relationships whether those are personal, professional or client based relationships.

Rodney grew a passion for interacting with people and always knew that fulfilling his purpose includes helping others.

Rodney became interested in real estate after spending over a decade as a healthcare executive in New York City. Whether it was growing existing services, introducing a new line of services or improving access – real estate played a vital role for those services to be rendered. This is what fueled Rodney’s passion for real estate.

Now more than ever, it is very important to have a safe space to call home for safety (Maslow’s hierarchy of needs), comfort and your mental health. At Keyrenter, the goal is to deliver a personalized experience whether you are a real estate investor in search of property management for your investment properties, or a client in search of your next rental home.

Rodney’s experience spans well over a decade managing multi-million dollar and impact healthcare organizations, and building high performing teams.

Rodney received his Bachelors of Science (BSc) from Morehouse College, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University in New York City.

In his spare time, Rodney enjoys taking his Golden Doodle “Kingston” on long walks around the Uptown Dallas neighborhood, spending time with family and friends, staying fit and traveling internationally learning about different cultures.
